Princess St. ParkwayWinnipeg, Manitoba
Architecture — Excursion, Collective Creation
Our goal is to have people experience and see Winnipeg’s back alleys in a whole new light.
By interrupting a prominent alleyway in the exchange, we plan to brighten the reputation of the joints that bind our urban blocks. Princess Street Parkway is a student-designed space in a back alley behind Deer and Almond; tucked neatly into the Exchange District of Winnipeg.
Rather than deterring passers-by as the day nears end, the parkway will enchant the street life as the night begins.
